Register for Henrico County Public Schools’ 2026 New Teacher Academy. All new teachers should report to their assigned school on Monday, August 10, 2026 and Friday, August 14, 2026. Sessions scheduled for Tuesday, August 11 - Thursday, August 13, 2026 will be held at Tucker High School. Specific schedules based on level, content, role, and experience will be found on this site. Rather than formal training, participants can stop by to ask questions, receive guidance, and get hands-on assistance with navigating the system, entering grades, and managing gradebook tasks efficiently. This session is ideal for Year 1 teachers, board substitutes, and anyone who is new to or would benefit from additional support using PowerTeacher and PTPro Gradebook. Come with your questions and work at your own pace while receiving personalized assistance.
