Sessions scheduled for Tuesday, August 11 - Thursday, August 13, 2026 will be held at Tucker High School. Specific schedules based on level, content, role, and experience will be found on this site. In this session, ECSE teachers will learn about proactive behavior interventions, essential classroom routines and expectations, as well as the emotional support and organizations components of CLASS observations.
During this morning session, all new early learning preschool educators will learn about important fundamentals to the early learning childhood preschool program.
During this session, exceptional education teachers who serve in elementary schools will learn about the VA IEP platform, case management and providing specially designed instruction.
In this session, new occupational therapists / physical therapists (related service providers) will learn HCPS-exceptional education specific practices, procedures for OT/PT personnel to help support staff in student participation, and available resources within the school district.
During this session, all Health and Physical Education educators and board substitutes who serve in secondary schools will learn about how to design, deliver, and asses health and physical education content for their elementary school students.
In this session, new speech and language pathologists will learning HCPS-specific practices regarding speech and language services, compliance, and procedures as well as available resources within the school district.
