Sessions scheduled for Tuesday, August 11 - Thursday, August 13, 2026 will be held at Tucker High School. Specific schedules based on level, content, role, and experience will be found on this site. For Teacher Licensure Cohort Academy Participants ONLY: Work at assigned schools to complete SafeSchools modules and prepare for the upcoming school year.
During this session, year 1 secondary educators, year 1 arts teachers, CTE teachers, and board substitutes will learn practical strategies for integrating SEL into daily instruction to create a learner-centered environment.
During this session, experienced high school Mathematics educators will learn about how HCPS designs, delivers, and asseses Mathematics content for high school students.
During this session, experienced middle school Mathematics educators will learn about how HCPS designs, delivers, and asseses Mathematics content for middle school students.
During this session, Year 1 secondary educators, Year arts teachers, all Career and Technical Education Teachers, and board substitutes will learn practical strategies for mindfully instructing through a culturally responsive lens.
During this session, Year 1 secondary educators, Year 1 arts teachers, secondary board substitutes, and career and technical educators will learn how to use instructional strategies that make content clearer and more accessible for all students, especially multilingual learners.
During this session, High School Year 1 Mathematics educators and board substitutes will learn about how to design, deliver, and asses Mathematics content for high school students.
During this session, Middle School Year 1 Mathematics educators and board substitutes will learn about how to design, deliver, and asses Mathematics content for middle school students.
Year 2+ Experienced Secondary Mathematics Teachers will work at assigned school on preparing their classrooms and completing SafeSchools modules and Schoology modules for New Teacher Academy.
