Welcome to the HCPS HR sessions!  
We look forward to the start of an amazing school year and are especially excited for you as you begin your new journey with us. We also look forward to working alongside you as we achieve great things for your students and the community together. During this session, all early learning preschool, grades 3-5 educators, all new school counselors, elementary Health and PE teachers, elementary visual arts teachers, elementary performing arts teachers, and long-term substitutes will learn practical strategies for building positive relationships with students' families and leveraging supports from the community.

During this session, Year 1 early learning preschool, grades 3-5 educators, grades 3-5 board substitutes, Year 1 visual arts educators, Year 1 performing arts educators, and elementary health and physical educators will learn practical strategies for integrating SEL into daily instruction to create a learner-centered environment.

During this session, Year 1 early learning preschool, grades 3-5 educators, grades 3-5 board substitutes, visual arts educators, performing arts educators, and health and physical education educators will receive an introduction about the Henrico County Public Schools' Culturally Responsive Education Model and reflect on ways to use it in creating a learner-centered environment. 

This open lab session is designed for teachers who would like individualized, one-on-one support with PowerTeacher and PTPro Gradebook. Rather than formal training, participants can stop by to ask questions, receive guidance, and get hands-on assistance with navigating the system, entering grades, and managing gradebook tasks efficiently.
This session is ideal for Year 1 teachers, board substitutes, and anyone who is new to or would benefit from additional support using PowerTeacher and PTPro Gradebook. Come with your questions and work at your own pace while receiving personalized assistance.

Participants will get lunch on their own at this time.
