During this session, all early learning preschool, elementary educators, elementary board substitutes, and Year 1 visual and performing arts teachers will attend a level-setting professional learning experience that helps general education teachers understand how exceptional education works in HCPS.

For Teacher Licensure Cohort Academy Participants ONLY: Work at assigned schools to complete SafeSchools modules and prepare for the upcoming school year.
During this session, all early learning preschool, grades 3-5 educators, all new school counselors, all new Health and PE teachers, Year 1 Visual Arts Teachers, Year 1 Performing Arts Teachers, and board substitutes will learn practical strategies for building positive relationships with students' families and leveraging supports from the community.
During this session, year 1 secondary educators, year 1 arts teachers, CTE teachers, and board substitutes will learn practical strategies for integrating SEL into daily instruction to create a learner-centered environment.
During this session, Year 1 secondary educators, Year arts teachers, all Career and Technical Education Teachers, and board substitutes will learn practical strategies for mindfully instructing through a culturally responsive lens.
During this session, Year 1 secondary educators, Year 1 arts teachers, secondary board substitutes, and career and technical educators will learn how to use instructional strategies that make content clearer and more accessible for all students, especially multilingual learners.
During this session, new Performing Arts educators will learn about how to design, deliver, and assess performing arts education content for their students.
