HCPS New Teacher Academy 2026 has ended
Register for Henrico County Public Schools’ 2026 New Teacher Academy.  All new teachers should report to their assigned school on Monday, August 10, 2026 and Friday, August 14, 2026. Sessions scheduled for Tuesday, August 11 - Thursday, August 13, 2026 will be held at Tucker High School. Specific schedules based on level, content, role, and experience will be found on this site. Directions for using the Sched website or mobile app can be found here.

Learner-Centered Community Rotation: Grades 6-12: Year 2+ Experience Teachers, ExEd Teachers, LIEP Teachers, Librarians, & School Counselors

Rooms 1208-1209, Rooms 2109-2110, and Room 2207-2208
During this session, experienced secondary educators will participants in three rotations that include a review of the classroom behavior management approach of CHAMPS (2207-2208), SEL-integration (2109-2110), and culturally responsive education (1208-1209).
