HCPS New Teacher Academy 2026
Register for Henrico County Public Schools’ 2026 New Teacher Academy.  All new teachers should report to their assigned school on Monday, August 10, 2026 and Friday, August 14, 2026. Sessions scheduled for Tuesday, August 11 - Thursday, August 13, 2026 will be held at Tucker High School. Specific schedules based on level, content, role, and experience will be found on this site. Directions for using the Sched website or mobile app can be found here.

This session introduces you to priority products available to all teachers, including Canva, Adobe Express, WeVideo, Book Creator, Brisk, and Newsela Writing. You’ll get a high-level look at what each tool does, when it might be useful, and how it supports the Henrico Learner Profile. Leave with a digital resource guide you can reference anytime you're ready to go deeper.
